COX portrays Angie Ramirez, Rollie Tyler's resourceful and beautiful assistant
and friend. Angie has the F/X business in her blood and contributes her
knowledge and expertise to help solve even the toughest cases.
The youngest of three girls, Christina was born and raised in and around Toronto, Canada. While growing up, she played soccer and ringette while pursuing dreams of becoming an Olympic gymnast. She also found time to star in her sister's super-eight movies.
While attending an arts high school, she appeared in numerous professional stage productions as well as an episode of the television series "E.N.G." With the intention of furthering her classical training, she went on to the Ryerson Theatre School. Christina diligently honed her skills and has become a versatile actress.
Christina appeared in the supporting lead role of Detective Beth Jordan in Joanna Kern's Movie-of-the-week, "No One Could Protect Her." In addition, she portrayed Canadian speed skating champion Natalie Grenier in "The Dan Jansen Story." Prior to joining F/X: The Series, she had a recurring role as 'the unlucky thief' in the popular comedy/drama "Due South" (CBS/CTV).
Since the cancellation of F/X: The Series, Christina has had recurring roles in the television series' Earth: Final Conflict and The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. She has guest starred in two episodes of Showtime's Stargate SG-1 and had one of the leading roles in the movie Better Than Chocolate. Her most recent project was a starring role in the movie Sometimes a Hero.
